Mixtures and Solutions

Hello all! It's been a while since my last update! We have moved on from Earth and Sun (for now)  and started our Mixtures and Solutions unit. (a favorite of the students!) Currently, we are working on mixing and separating solutions, will move on to saturation and concentration, continue with developing models (mystery of the black boxes:) and finish with chemical reactions! Who wouldn't want to mix things together and see what happens?! Sorry, no mentos and soda! Of course, that question was asked! This unit of study will guide us through much of quarter two, along with some STEM and Coding activities. Check out our pictures below of the students separating mixtures!
